Long overdue update

Here is an updated pic of Earth Song I'm working on page 2. It's alot of dark navy and black so it seems to take forever to do. When I'm not working on this I'm working on a crocheted baby blanket for my cousin who is due this summer with her first child. I'll take a pic later this week of the blanket and post it.
I'm now working overnights which is a switch for me. I'm so use to working days but I like the pay of doing it. I get to buy more stash now. I'm thinking of joining a fotm (fabric of the month) and a totm (thread of the month). I don't have much of a stash of fabric and the only floss I have is DMC so I'm going to a specialty floss collection now.

Great work on your Earth Song. I have recently started knitting, I can't crochet to save my life! Looking forward to pics of the blanket.

Earth Song is coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing the baby blanket! I haven't crocheted in several years. Sometimes I miss it.

Earth song is progressing nicely!

Really great progress! I had a hard time learning how to crochet because of being left handed. when I would look at a book everything was backwards LOL

Good going on Earth Song - those blocks of colour seem to take forever, don't they? I feel that way with the Mirabilias, though the end result is worth it. You'll get there. :-)

Looks like you have come a ways on Earth Song. It can be boring with colors that are so close. I always wished I had learned to crochet, never did. I live in Iowa too. Waterloo to be exact. Nice to see another Iowan. Good luck with your fotm and totm picks.

Looking good. Those big solid pages are always tough.
