Grow Your Blog Party

The party is here, finally. I can't wait to grow my blog and meet some new friends. Let me tell you some things about myself.

Here is a picture of myself and my DH on vacation in Florida. We've been married since October 2003. Here we are at Universal Studios waiting to go on a ride. I haven't changed much since this pic except that my hair is much shorter now and a lighter color. We have no children as of yet, except for our furry ones who act human. We are trying to get pregnant with the help of a fertility specialist but no luck as of yet. If we don't get pregnant we will adopt if we can agree on the age of the child(ren) we want to adopt.
I enjoy counted cross stitch, knitting, crocheting and reading. DH has decided that when it comes to my obsessions I can not be denied and that I have way more patterns then I could do in a life time, maybe. Working slows down my stitching, I work overnights so sometimes sleeping is an issue so then I stitch or read.

Here is Jack. He is a schnauzer, in the summer he is shaved way down but in the winter his hair is just everywhere. He is the youngest.
Here is Karen. My DH found her at work in the spring while it was nasty outside. Someone had just dropped her off and he brought her home to me. She is very friendly, sometimes too friendly.

Last but not least is the oldest of the three, Gracie. We have had her since just after we got married. She is the Queen and she knows it.

If you want to know more about me feel free to drop me a comment or send me an email.

Hi jen... It is very nice to meet you. I have to tell you a story about a friend of mine. She and her hubby could not get pregnant, no matter how hard they tried. they even did the fertility specialist too... Well, they finally decided to adopt and adopted a beautiful little boy and brought him in to their lives. he brought so much happiness that the stress of not being able to get pregnant was lifted.... and then.... wham! she got pregnant!! and 2 years later she got pregnant again... and then...yep.. she had 3 babies!! Their family of 3 grew to a family of 6!

Stress sometimes can stand in the way... so adopt a baby... he or she needs wonderful parents... love that baby with all that you are and feel the stress lift and melt away... and possibly you will be as lucky as my friend.

Evalina, This and that...

p.s. I'm a robot and I dislike to prove that I'm not!

Hello Jen - I am here from 2 bags full.

Wow - love your stitching. I used to love cross stitching but haven't done it in decades. Looking at all your pretties is making me "hungry."

Your 3 fur-people look very content.

Lovely to meet the family. COnsider turning off the robot detector, it's such a nuisance.
And do come to visit my blog, since the party goes on. I have a nice vintage lace book to giveaway. See you there.

Hey there fellow cross-stitcher! I loved your furry children too.
I didn't keep up with going to all the TUSAL and WIPblogs and haven't seen yours but I liked looking at your progress. That HAED design! Wow. I think if I ever finish the project I started for my 10 year anny I will never want to do a large project again! (I'll be married 9 years this June so I still have some time)
